This 2-day training covers all areas of fundraising, starting with the development of a strategy and ending with the writing of a first proposal draft ending with the follow-up Q&A. Our experienced instructor Dr. Eva Wieners has identified five main obstacles on the way to fundraising success that many fundraisers run into. In this training, we will systematically address them – and find a way to overcome them.

Methodology

The course will be delivered through mixed-use of presentation, case-study examples, role-play, and lively discussions in several sessions covering all steps vital to a successful application.

Trainer

Dr. Eva Wieners is based in Germany and has worked for more than a decade with NGOs on the grassroots level in Nepal in the field of capacity development and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. Before that, she worked in South America and Europe with different organizations. She holds a Ph.D. in geography and her field of research was the sustainability of development projects. Eva has trained thousands of development practitioners on- and offline and has previously worked in Nepal for seven years.
